A conference website with Indigenous theming alive with animation

Wildlife Disease Association hold an international conference every year. As the 2024 conference was to be held in Australia, the convenors wanted something with a distinctly Indigenous flavour. Who else should they contact but Yirra Miya? Yirra Miya created the exquisite branding and illustrations. The moment I saw them, I knew we had to bring them to life!
I’ll be honest – this was possibly the most fun site I’ve ever done! With Yirra Miya’s stunning artwork, a vibrant colour palette and some cute and colourful images of Australian wildlife, what’s not to love?
Subtle animations were used to make the illustrations scamper about the pages. Blocks of information were broken down with colour blocks and eye-catching popups.
